The ‘Rutland Children's Trust Staff Welcome and Introduction' session has been developed to complement workplace induction and introductory professional development.
The induction session is open to all new starters Children and Young People's workforce in Rutland whether they work in the public, private, voluntary or independent sector.
Whilst it is aimed at new starters, the session is open to anyone within the workforce that feels they might benefit from the content of the session.

Leicester Young People's Advisory Board have developed 'Take 6' - a DVD showing scenarios that can be used by people who work with Children and Young People to get them thinking about how they can work together better.
The CWDC have just launched a new induction guide for the short break workforce.
The Rutland Children's Trust Welcome and Introduction is for anyone that works or volunteers with children, young people and families in Rutland. The session includes Level 1 Safeguarding Training, CAF awareness and will also give attendees a chance to find out about local priorities and agendas and to meet other people from the children, young people and families' workforce.
Over the last few months, the CWDC have been revising the inductions standards workbook, in consultation with the CWDC induction standards user group. The materials are designed to help support inductees and their managers through the induction process. CWDC have also produced mapping documents to show how the induction standards link to the Common Core of Skills and Knowledge. The new online resources include a workbook that all inductees can download and save to complete as well as supporting factsheets to explain the process.
