This training is aimed at people who have attended Integrated Working Training and who use the Common Assessment Framework.

This course aims to provide practitioners with the knowledge and tools to effectively involve Children and Young People in the CAF process in a solution focused way.

Attendees on this course will be provided with a Toolkit to take away which they can then disseminate to other staff within their organisation in order to support the effective involvement of Children and Young People.

This session will provide an opportunity to demystify the jargon and learn how 'integrated working' is integral to the work of anybody who works or volunteers with children and young people and how the 'Common Assessment Framework' can enable you to provide support for children, young people and families.

This session in relevant to anyone who works or volunteers with children, young people and/or their families.

This session will cover:

  • Integrated Working Procedures
  • Common Assessment Framework
  • The Role of the Lead Professional
  • The Function of a Team around the Family
  • How to access further support if required
