The CAF Training team at Leicester City Council are offering free CAF awareness sessions. These will be delivered in house at your location and last about 45 mins plus time for questions.
The sessions are aimed at those who support the CAF process, those who need an awareness of the process and those needing to understand how the process works but who are unlikely to complete a CAF Assessment.
The latest edition of the CWDC's Integrated Working Update is available now. This month's focus is the Common Assessment Framework.

The Common Assessment Framework is a standard process that helps to identify a child or young person’s additional unmet needs. These needs can range from health and housing, to family support and learning needs. The assessment provides a basis for getting other services involved as necessary to address the unmet needs whilst ensuring overlaps or gaps in support are prevented.
A number of organisations exist which provide training and support around improving communication skills for the children’s workforce. This not only relates to communication with children and young people but between staff and volunteers themselves.
